Technological innovation in the television scenarios

The visit to the Laboratories of the RAI Centre for Research, Technological Innovation and Experimentation (CRITS) http://www.crit.rai.it/CritPortal/

will offer the opportunity to enjoy the research activities carried out by Rai-CRITS in the field of Digital Television and new Services for the users.

5G technologies offer new opportunities for the production and distribution of television services.

AI technologies allow the introduction of new services and applications to improve the user experience in the consumption of TV and radio content.

The new Accessibility and Inclusion projects combine technologies and the need to bring people with difficulties closer to the television content produced by Rai, with particular attention to children and disadvantaged categories.

Virtual and Augmented Reality bring new emotional experiences to the user’s home TV by offering multiple opportunities to experience the TV show.
