Intesa Sanpaolo Headquarters – a perfect acoustics in a sustainable building
Brief introduction to the acoustic design of the INTESA SANPAOLO tower: overview of the covered topics and activities carried out to proceed from the final executive design to the construction design.
The acoustic design of the Auditorium: acoustic requirements and possible different configurations. The changes of the acoustic response and its relevance for the multifunctional nature of the hall.
The required acoustic performance (design requirements) of the acoustic panels and the laboratory test methods, from the specifications to the feasibility relative to the construction methods of the panels and the setup inside the test chambers as stated by the Acoustic Standards.
The required acoustic performance on site and the onsite testing methods: facade acoustic insulation, impact noise, insulation from adjacent rooms, reverberation time.
Interaction between electroacoustic system and room acoustics: real time measurement of the three-dimensional echogram with the Auditorium occupied by the people attending the presentation.
Comparison between the results obtained with the audio system installed in the Auditorium and an omnidirectional sound source.
