What is the EAA young acousticians’ network?
The EAA Young Acousticians Network (YAN) is a non-profit initiative within the European Acoustics Association (EAA). Our primary goal is to establish a community for young researchers and young professionals in the field of Acoustics; to connect them and to provide support. We organise events at conferences and provide not-for-profit services that contribute to the community. These services include the EAA YAN website, a monthly newsletter, and many communication channels to enable networking.
The YAN is addressed to any early-career acoustician (Bachelor, Master, PhD, and Post-Doc) from worldwide, including MSc and PhD students, post docs, researchers, consultants, and engineers.
The YAN is pleased to invite you all to the YAN Beer Event on Monday evening September 11th, 2023 at “Imbarchino”
From Politecnico di Torino to Imbarchino (Viale Umberto Cagni 37, Torino)

- Tram 16 (Bus stop 624 Duca degli Abruzzi): 23 minutes (cost: 1.70€)
Please, kindly note that the YAN Beer Event is reserved for young researchers and students as a priority. Those who will register to the event will be furtherly contacted and will receive a special token: this will guarantee them a free beer at the Imbarchino pub. Anyway, the location that will host the event is in a vibrant area that allows for many people to be present. Therefore, do not hesitate to join the YAN and the young researchers in the Valentino park!

From Piazza Vittorio Veneto to Torino Esposizioni: along the Po River to discover a path in Valentino Park admiring rare plants and recalling the Middle Ages.
